Welcome Home Friend

Sunday RE came home. What a wonderful day. We have been so excited and I have never been so nervous. The kind of pit you get in your stomach when you try out for cheerleading. Anybody remember that feeling? Stutts said he used to feel that way before a big game. Almost like you could go to sleep as if your body was shutting down. I have been paralyzed for the past couple of days. Nerves. He is sleeping well, during the day that is. We are a little mixed up on our days and nights right now. We didn't think about how much of a change it would be for him. He has been in an isolette for the first three months of his life with all the poking and prodding and beeping and dinging and then we bring him home and try to get him to sleep in the dark in silence. That didn't go over well. He was up all night. LAst night was a little better with the lights partially on and the sound machine blarring. He has been awake more today so hopefully he will sleep tonight. Other than the usual things that you adjust to with a new baby we are doing great. Little S. is so excited to finally have a brudder home and wants to be near him all the time. I have had to interceed once or twice, but he really is happy to have him home. I believe the next chapter in this fairytale has begun. JW and RO are doing great and I think they will soon be home as well. Keep us in your prayers as we make adjustments to being home and being at the hospital too. Thank to everyone who has checked on us and we will keep you updated on how our first home is doing.

What a wonderful feeling it is.
