All you need is Love

Today marks 10 months of triplet craziness! Tomorrow will be a big day in our house.... we will have officially surpassed the time they spent at UAB. Five months in the hospital versus five months and "1" day at home!!! they have grown and change so much that I can't even express it. God has blessed my family in such heavy amounts. My steps are lighter, longer and stronger.

The inspiration that has been given to me by such little people has been so unexpected....

From SE, who has taught me patience and to look at life with a smile. When I ask him how he is he says, "Great Dad!" with not a moments hesitation. You can tell that he absolutely means it. It makes you happy to hear it. When people ask me how I am I used to respond, I'm good or O.K. Now I respond the same way as SE and mean it too. It lifts me up!

RE has shown me how to "try hard". His mind keeps telling him to walk, crawl and roll in that order....but his body is not there yet. The boy could care less, he spends every waking moment trying, pushing and willing himself to get up and run. He has shown me what true drive is.

JW calms the air with an easy going smile. He is the first baby I have seen cry and smile at the same time! He is strong and stout like my brother, even looks like him too. He has taught me you can change a moment with just a quick smile. It's powerful.

RO roars like the lion he is. He is roaring all the time. Sometimes it's playful sometimes it's tuff. It's like his call into the wild, his battle cry. It fits his fight and that's what he has taught me. Don't give up, fight, roar a little louder.

I'm thankful that God has given me the ability to be open to these lessons from my children and know I can't "always" be on point but I do know I will always have the love God has given me for them. That is what I hope they learn from me is the deep love that I will always have for them and will always share with them....

RE front, JW middle, RO roaring from behind.

Frank Sinatra has nothing on RO....

....and JW too!

Sink time....RE had a little bit of Ravioli.

SE in his Sunday best.

It speaks for itself.

RE, JW

Bertha and RO. Bertha helps Jill take care of the boys during the week. She has become a great part of our family. She always has a smile on her face.

RO "hanging out".

SE and some of the neighborhood posse'

RE - Crazy, I know! He looks like a big kid stuck in a little baby's body.
